expensive car in 2022 |
Who hasn't fantasized about driving a supercar? They are reserved for the wealthy elite, and their swaying curves, muscular motors, and amount of horses to make a stable green make the entire world dream. Luxury automobiles are becoming more powerful, racy, and unique, and they have them beneath the hood to make us fantasize. If they improve over time, their price rises with them! Do you want to know how much the world's most costly car costs? Our first list of the world's most expensive automobiles, published in 2018, has a total value of about 25 million euros. Our top ten will be worth 90 million euros in 2022.
1. ROLLS-ROYCE BOAT TAIL: 23 MILLION EUROS
The Rolls Royce Boat Tail explodes price calculators and arouses all desires: it is (by far) the most expensive new car of all time. This 5,79-meter long cabriolet with a vintage-modern design features a V12 biturbo engine (6,75 liters for 563 horsepower) and an automatic gearbox with eight gears. This "rolling yacht" was produced in only three examples, all of which were reserved for millionaires due to its exorbitant price.
2. THE BLACK CAR BUGATTI: 15.9 MILLION EUROS
Cock-a-doodle Doo ! The French brand is lifted to the second step of the podium by this one-off homologated for the road. This hypercar, inspired by the Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic, features everything exceptional: 8 litres, 16 cylinders, 1500 horsepower, hand-built assembly... It's no surprise that a Swiss bought this one-of-a-kind duplicate of a goldsmith's work.
3. 15.7 MILLION EUROS PAGANI ZONDA HP BARCHETTA
This concept car was developed for Horacio Pagani of the namesake firm and two other lucky unnamed owners. If this roadster generated a lot of noise during its presentation, it's still a mystery: its technical specifications are still in the order of suppositions for the time being.
SWEPTAIL FOR ROLLS-ROYCE: 11.6 MILLION EUROS
The Sweptail, a one-of-a-kind, built-on-demand Rolls-Royce, once again monopolizes the top of the basket. Another concept car that bridges the gap between the worlds of luxury cars and watercraft, powered by a 453 horsepower V12 engine. A layout that is "not a boat"!
CENTODIECI BUGATTI: 8 MILLION EUROS
Return to France and sell the Bugatti Centodieci for less than ten million euros. Built on a Bugatti Chiron platform and inspired by the Bugatti EB110, "the 110" has it under the hood: 1600 horsepower for an 8-litre W16 with a top speed of 380 km/h. Boom.
7.3 MILLION EUROS LAMBORGHINI VENENO
Back to the future of the automobile with the Lamborghini Veneno, a roadster with cosmic shapes inspired by aeronautics that defies gravity. With its 6.5 liter V12 engine, this hypercar made in 9 copies cannot fly but can reach 355 km/h. In summary, it's an automobile that makes you see stars.
EXELERO MAYBACH: 7 MILLION EUROS
One more one-of-a-kind model! Fulda, a tire manufacturer, ordered this coupé to test and market a new line of tyres. The exercise was successful: its performance on the circuit was successful thanks to its 5.9-liter engine with 700 horsepower. Fulda's firm is obviously on the move.
5. MILLION EUROS FOR BUGATTI DIVO
What do the 40 Bugatti Divo owners have in common? A Bugatti Chiron is also in their possession. While the two premium automobiles are identical (both have an 8-litre W16 engine with 1500 horsepower and a comparable cabin), the Divo stands out for its unique look.
4.2 MILLION EUROS KOENIGSEGG CCXR TREVITA
The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is a limited edition of only two cars, but it is just as powerful and speedy as its "sisters," going from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.75 seconds. In comparison to Ferrari, Aston Martin, or Lamborghini, this Swedish automobile weighs only 1280 kg.
2.9 MILLION ASPARK OWLS
This Japanese supercar isn't the tenth most expensive vehicle, but it is the most expensive electric vehicle on the planet. It's also the world's quickest electric vehicle! It boasts four super-powerful electric motors that propel it from 0 to 96 km/h in 1.69 seconds, a world record. Another notable feature is that it is one of the shortest electric cars, standing at only 99cm tall. As a result, the Aspark Owl is the best in many ways.
The top ten most costly new vehicles are presented in this list. The Ferrari 250 GTO, which won the Tour de France in 1964, takes home the accolade for most costly secondhand car. It was sold for 62 million euros (about $70 million)!
